تربیت علمی و تربیت اخلاقی ارتباطی متقابل دارند. تربیت علمی، اطلاعات ضرورتی
مبتنی بر واقعیت را برای اجرا و بازاندیشی اصول اخلاقی فراهم می کند، علاوه بر این که
تربیت علمی مدعی دستیابی به تمایلاتی واقعی، همچون بی طرفی است که با پاره ای از
اهداف تربیت اخلاقی )همچون عدالت( همانند است. تربیت اخلاقی هم به نوبة خود
امکانات بالقوه ای برای دستیابی ضوابط )اخلاقی( و جهت گیری های ضروری در اختیار
محققان می گذارد تا در زمینة اکتشافات، پذیرش فرضیات و سلوک پرسش گرانه،
