The journal of Educational Jurisprudence Studies (EJS) is a peer-reviewed academic publication dedicated to fostering rigorous scholarly inquiry at the intersection of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) and the theory and practice of education. As a dynamic forum for interdisciplinary dialogue, EJS seeks to explore, analyze, and advance the rich and evolving field of educational jurisprudence, understood as the systematic derivation and application of Shari’a-based insights to all dimensions of learning, teaching, and educational governance.

The journal of Educational Jurisprudence Studies (EJS) welcomes original research that engages with the philosophical foundations, methodological frameworks, historical trajectories, and comparative perspectives of educational jurisprudence. The journal emphasizes critical examinations of Shari’a rules governing educational content, pedagogical techniques, and student competencies, as well as the jurisprudential dimensions of various educational domains, including intellectual, physical, and belief-based formation. Furthermore, it provides a platform for scholarly discussions on the religious responsibilities of families, governments, and other societal institutions in shaping ethically grounded and jurisprudentially sound educational environments.

By bridging classical Islamic legal thought with contemporary educational challenges, the journal of Educational Jurisprudence Studies (EJS)  aims to contribute to both theoretical depth and practical guidance in developing education systems aligned with Islamic ethical and legal principles. The journal is committed to academic excellence, intellectual diversity, and the promotion of a vibrant discourse that serves scholars, educators, policymakers, and religious thinkers invested in the future of Islamic education.
