Abstract

In the field of education and pedagogical instruction, one of the important rules for promoting and enriching the religious knowledge of the trainees is the Principle of Guidance. This principle refers to a set of activities and special educational measures that must be taken after the trainee's awareness. The individual will develop commitment to the awareness, and will manifest a mood characterized by spirituality and religiosity. Contrary to the Principle of Irshad, the Principle of Guidance is a principle in which the individual is cognizant of the issue. But the educational factor must institutionalize this knowledge and awareness by strengthening the trainee's will, motivating him and possibly changing the environmental and social conditions. The necessity of guidance is contingent upon knowledge and this duty is assigned to the scholar. Also, the obligation to guide is contingent upon the possibility of influencing the trainee. This article examines the Principle of Guidance with an inferential and analytical method while relying on narrations and textual proofs. Meanwhile, it studies the conditions, scope and levels of the Principle of Guidance in the education process. The most important results of the present research is that, from a jurisprudential point of view, first, guidance is obligatory within the area of obligations and prohibitions, and it has priority in other cases. Secondly, it is not permissible to use the guiding actions of others if it leads to harm, coercion and reluctance. Thirdly, the use of different methods of guidance is desirable in and of itself. But in cases where guidance cannot be materialized except with a specific method, using that method has absolute priority.
