Abstract

Examining the role of prayer as a comprehensive educational model in shaping an Islamic lifestyle, with an emphasis on the four-dimensional model of human relations (self, God, creation, and the environment), is of significant research interest. The main question of the research is how prayer, by strengthening these four dimensions, contributes to individual and social education?
This study was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method and references to Islamic jurisprudential and educational sources. The relationship between the rulings of prayer and the components of an Islamic lifestyle within the framework of the four-dimensional model has been analyzed. The findings show that prayer simultaneously strengthens the connection between humans and God (spirituality), self (personal ethics), creation (social responsibility), and the environment (constructive interaction with nature), thereby institutionalizing an Islamic lifestyle in spiritual, individual, social, and environmental dimensions. The condition for realizing these impacts is performing prayer with presence of heart and understanding its meanings. This article ultimately concludes that prayer, beyond being an individual act of worship, has an organized educational function capable of laying the foundations for a healthy, dynamic, and accountable society.
