Abstract
The family is one of the fundamental foundations of Islamic society, and its preservation is of great importance. Conflicts sometimes arise within families, and moral recommendations regarding forgiveness and tolerance have been observed in religious texts for a long time. However, an important question exists that has not been addressed in past jurisprudential works: Does Imamite jurisprudence specify a particular duty for family members in these conflicts? To resolve this issue, other matters such as the discussion of harm, types of harm, conflict of harms, and interference should be examined as the basis of the discussion. This research, using analytical and descriptive methods, investigates the evidence and opinions of jurists to uncover the religious duty of individuals, emphasizing the father's duty towards the upbringing of the child, and determines the legal obligations. Various scenarios exist in this matter, including conflicts arising from religious issues, differences in opinions, and conflicts leading to the violation of others' rights.
