Abstract

The education system, as a vital pillar of society, is moving towards its established goals in the path of growth and development. One of the elements of the education system is the "teacher," who has a significant impact and a key role in this system. Given the importance of teachers' roles in the educational system and their effects on individuals in society, identifying the criteria for evaluating teachers is essential. The main objective of this research is to examine the necessary criteria for evaluating teachers from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence. The primary question is: What criteria should be considered in evaluating teachers according to jurisprudence? The method used in this research is analytical-interpretative. The results indicate that the evaluation indicators for teachers can be presented in three dimensions: "belief," "ethics," and "skills." In the belief dimension, the important criterion for evaluating teachers from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence is the soundness of belief. This characteristic is particularly emphasized for teachers of Islamic teachings and educational trainers. Other criteria for evaluating teachers (from an ethical perspective) include moral integrity, lack of corruption, and humility. The skill evaluation indicators for teachers from the perspective of jurisprudence include maintaining justice among students and not concealing knowledge.
