Abstract

This article examines the religious upbringing and implications of children's prayer within the context of educational jurisprudence, as well as the opinions of jurists regarding children's prayer. The main objective of the research is to analyze the statements of jurists about the legitimacy and practice of children's prayer, its educational implications, and to provide recommendations based on the findings for educators.
The research method includes descriptive-analytical approaches and educational prescriptions through the discovery of rational necessities, existential reasoning, and backward semantics. The results indicate that there are five perspectives on children's worship, which refer to two major opinions. Some consider it merely a practice without reward, while others view it as religiously legitimate and rewarding.
Furthermore, the educational implications of children's prayer, as a pedagogical tool, contribute to the cognitive and moral development of children and lead to the formation of positive behaviors and the development of critical thinking. This approach not only gradually facilitates the understanding of religion but also fosters greater motivation and interest in children to engage in acts of worship.
Ultimately, this research offers recommendations for educators that assist in better understanding the role of prayer in the religious and moral upbringing of children and in designing effective educational methods.
