Abstract

Enjoining good and forbidding evil as one of the important principles of Islam plays a fundamental role in guiding society towards divine values and preventing deviations. These two principles have been raised not only as an individual duty, but also as a social responsibility, and many religious and moral sources have spoken of their great importance. Famous jurists divide the levels of enjoining evil and forbidding evil into three stages: heart denial, verbal warning and practical action; But with careful and reflection in religious texts, we can come to the conclusion that these levels include four stages and preaching is one of these levels. As a result of this research, it was found that after the denial of the heart, there is a stage called "Preaching" which precedes the linguistic reminder. Therefore, preaching is one of the duties that must be done continuously so that the linguistic reminder and practical action become legitimate. .
