Abstract

In Islamic jurisprudence, analyzing and resolving conflicts in narrations is one of the main challenges in understanding and deriving legal rulings, necessitating the use of appropriate tools for its resolution. One such tool is the application of the educational objectives of Sharia, which can serve as a valid criterion for resolving conflicts and clarifying jurisprudential narrations. Given the importance of Sharia objectives in interpreting and analyzing texts, a reevaluation of how to utilize these objectives, especially in the context of educational goals, is an undeniable necessity.
This article employs a descriptive-analytical method to elucidate the role of the educational objectives of Sharia in analyzing and resolving conflicts in narrations. The results of the research indicate that attention to the overarching educational goals of Sharia can serve as a criterion for assessing narrations, discovering their internal coherence, and discarding narrations inconsistent with educational principles. It can also facilitate the understanding and interpretation of texts, as well as the restriction or expansion of evidence. Ultimately, in cases where the prescribed preferences are accepted, recognizing the educational objectives of the legislator and prioritizing them can act as one of the preferences for resolving conflicts in narrations.
